Absolutely amazing. The Tate Modern had an exhibition a few years ago. Something ancient and archetypal going through all of it. The vivid colours… I don’t know… something very strange going on with this guy. Scary feel to everything, but really alive. Brilliant.

There's an entire roomful of Beckmans at the museum in St. Louis. If you're a fan, you should definitely make the trip. Good overall museum in general, but that Beckman room is stunning.
