I have recently started just playing around at home recording on my computer. I have never been in a studio, hell, right now I am still trying to find the right band to back me, so, anyway, has anyone ever been intimidated by the studio atmosphere?
p.s. two of my songs are at
www.susanteller.com
p.s.s. I miss Kurt Cobain.

Right on. Back when I was a lad it was the Trashcan cassette 4-track, but, same old same old.

Enjoy recording. Keep them, too. There's something really nice about being able to listen to what you were up to 5 or 10 or 15 or 40 years ago.

Nobody, not ever.
No, seriously, I haven't anyway. I've worked with people who were, though they've always made it through the day just fine. One guy once just couldn't play his guitar parts. But that really had nothing to do with being in the studio.
Cheers then!

Gotta deal with negativity, I suppose. You are what you aspire to be, and the more you keep pounding on the door the more likely you will get through. For the person who said that is not music and those are not graphics arts, headtripper.
The studio looks like it would be an intimidating experience. Thanks for the comments, I will keep them in mind when I am finally in there.

Susan -
Your "music" is really bad. I hope you continue to be intimidated by recording studios. Maybe one day you will become fearful of microphones. At least you're doing everything on a computer and aren't wasting tape.
On a lighter note, you seem to have "mastered" MS Paint. Your "graphic art" is mind-blowing.

I have to agree with Major here. Your work is, as Simon Cowell would say, erm..... Extraordinary.
I would like to add that in recording studios, it is easily possible to die of an electric shock from microphones. Especially studio mics. Mixing desks are especially hazardous too.
Your "art work" is
unbelievable.
