I want to add a ground wire to an old amp that I am resotring. It has a 2-wire cord right now. The white and the black wires are obvious as to where they go. Do I solder the ground (earth) to the amps chassis? I could also add a crimp on end to it and attach it to one of the lugs that hold the circuit board to the chassis. I think that that is correct, but there is a part of me that says find out for sure. Anyone?

Thanks
D. Herman

P.S. The amp is an Ampeg Gemini I (20 watts, 7591's, 12" speaker) that I found at the curb last night. Pretty cool, huh?

yes, your on the right path. Ground lug connects to chassis(make sure it makes good connection with metal), and the power supply ground should connect to that point from one place only.
