I was checking out the site and noticed that the employees are wearing jumpsuits with an "e" on the back.
Why do you guys wear these as opposed to your regular clothes? And is there a significance to the different colors---such as day of the week, etc?
Is this an homage to Owen Wilson?

The jumpsuits came from a joke we played on steve during the construction days. When he returned from a multi-month session overseas, we all had facial hair and were wearing uniforms that had the "e" on it. It kind of looked like a POW work camp. It was funny, and people liked having work clothes they could peel off at the end of the day. As the construction period overlapped the working studio period, they were handy for keeping your clean clothes clean (in case you had to switch gears and work in the finished studio B). After studio A was finished we kept wearing them because they were handy (lots of pockets for pens, screwdrivers, knives, guns, lucky ziplock bags, etc.).

The different colors mean different jobs.
Red = Weapons Management
Blue = Marine Biology
Green = Recycling
Grey = Nuclear

Good god is right! You got me all wrong, the point I was trying to convey is that I am interning at Electrical right now, and I still am. And since I have been watching Steve record a band all day, I just happened to notice that he is wearing a red jumpsuit and I left a comment saying that he is doing so. In no way was "droll idolatry" ever brought into my comment, infact "droll idolatry" never even crossed my mind. I don't even know how you got that impression, but I would like to know what you were thinking. No really, I would please tell me.

Anyway, I should have been more specific-my ‘idolatry’ comment was not directed at you, but at the type of useless, humorless observations to which you were replying and which pervade so many internet message boards. As an intern at the studio, by responding to such drivel, you only encourage it. Well, thanks for understanding, your comment was fairly harsh, inappropriate, and uncalled for, but thanks anyway. I did take out the "daddy" comment, because that was uncalled for as well and I didn't want to perpetuate the hate. Anyways, if you think this thread of posts is "bullshit", you shouldn't read it.
