when this happens i see sims puts his bass down and walks away for a bit like nothing happened, not bothering to look or see whats going on with yow.
same with denison but at least he looks at him, haha sims walks away looking la dee dah.

now i never saw TJL but im assuming shit like this happened all the time to yow and thats why the band members didnt really see it as anything to get worked up over?

just really curious cause i think thats funny in a horrible way, or maybe wonderful. whatever way, pretty funny.

If I'm in that band I am walking away to crack somebody's skull. That would be my guess about both Duane and Sims.

Yow, a very nice guy, throws a beer can into the crowd and cracks a young lady in the head. It looked to me as if it was full. The next day I am bar tending and a guy comes in and, in the course of casual conversation, he notes that his girlfriend had been cracked in the head by a full beer at the JL show.

Maybe the above vid is her revenge.

I've seen yow do some shitty things to audience members before (punching kicking, hitting--some warranted, some definitely not). Love the band, but oh well.......that's what you get.

I thought Sims looked like he was kinda pissed about the bottle throwing.

Why is this one of the only TJL vids up on youtube? Someone out there has to have the time and energy to put up the "SHOW" vidoe, right?

Oh yeah, I was there for that. I was up in the very front and saw him open the can, take a swig and chuck it over his shoulder. My girlfriend at the time was working at a photo lab with the woman that got hit. Evidently it screwed up her jaw permenantly. So, word gets round that I saw it and someone gave my phone number to a lawyer. I got hostile phone calls for months from the lawyers who were representing her.

I never gave my version of the events. I felt haphazardly lobbed projectiles were a forseeable risk at Liberty Lunch (RIP). Maybe that wasn't the right thing to do. I don't know.
