man, watching rey ordonez hit is really painful. as a mets fan, i would like to extend my sympathy towards all of the cubs fans on this board.
yeah, he's an excellent defensive shortstop.. but it's not 1985, the shortstop has to hit over .190.

He's not excellent, he makes the great plays but regularly botches anything that's routine. I didn't think I'd say this but I actually miss alex gonzalez's bat. And my patience with the polish prince has run out- time to make lovely latroy the closer. Borowski is too red, too sweaty, and too sucky.

Rey Ordonez, he is not so good!
But in his sleep, he would have turned that botched double play in the NLCS that, rather than Bartman, ruined the Cubs.
