december 23rd is festivus. a "festivus for the restofus"

holiday attributes include:

-the festivus pole: a long aluminum pole stood vertically without additional ornamentation. aluminum is used for it's "very high strength-to-weight ratio".
-the airing of grievances: directly after dinner is served, it is time to tell all friends and family the various ways they have dissappointed you through-out the year.
-the feats of strength: the head of the household selects one person for a wrestling match. you may only decline if you have something else better to do. festivus is not officially over until the head of the household has been pinned.

I'm not so sure about the pole or the feats, but I say any holiday that promotes bitching this time of year is OK.
