Yo,
IfIHadAHiFi currently has an opening for a guitarist/synth player.
US:
A high-energy noise-rock combo from Milwaukee, WI with two full-lengths, a split with the Modern Machines, and numerous comps and whatnots. We've existed for the last 7 years, and plan to keep existing for the forseeable future. We currently are putting the finishing touches on the songs that will be our next full-length, and are still planning to tour out to the West Coast in May or June, provided you join us soon enough.
YOU:
-You play guitar and synth with roughly equal ability. Other instruments a plus, because the rest of us are too lazy to learn new ones.
-You are willing and able to tour at least three weeks out of the year, hopefully more.
-You are a mature, well-adjusted adult male or female who won't get all weird and drama-y if the band just happens to get into a fistfight onstage, a huge screaming match in practice, or some other such display of volatility. This is a natural part of our band dynamic and that's not going anywhere. In short: no passive-aggressive pansies.
If yer interested, we're going to start trying people out ASAP. We're in the process of shopping demos to labels for our next full-length, and we have no intention of letting this halt our momentum. Please message us here or on MySpace, or send an email to hifi@ifihadahifi.net. Oh, and just so you know, "Dad," "Bob" or "Eye" are not acceptable palindrome-based aliases. Use some creativity if you suggest a name. Thanks!
