She's 14 years old. They aren't hairballs. She just projectile vomits right on the hardwood- then she walks over to the fireplace and licks the bricks. Five minutes later she's hungry again. Repeat.
Vet says she's OK. Go figure. Easily 33% of her diet is warm mushy barf that ends up in the trash can. Otherwise she seems quite happy.

Warm mushy barf is unfortunately something that comes to mind when I think of Frida.
But for a cat that looks like a used muppet with a busted lip, she certainly has been a survivor.
Relatively pleasant and friendly too, when she isn't drooling uncontrollably, barfing, or skirting around in fear of apparitions unknown.

Wow, I think she has unique skill and a unique skull. Well, she is one of those Hemingway Polydactyl cats. She has the opposing thumb and an additional fingerpad about half way up her front legs. I always thought this was normal, but looking at other cats, I don't think that it is.

hum hum...you must be carful with that..it's sound like a "kidney problem" (soory for my english)...does you'r cat is drinking a lot of wather to!?, if it's no douth..anyway.. if he do not loose so much weight it could be ok!

It's not normal but it's not super rare. My parents have one.

Yeah, my cat was doing the same thing. Turns out her kidneys aren't working so well any more. I guess this is quite common among older cats. But, I'm sure your vet would have suspected this and asked to test for it. I'm now giving my cat 100mL of subcutaneous fluid twice a week and feeding her special prescription food. She is much better and *almost* stopped throwing up completely. It is, however, just a matter of time...
