anyone else watch this? I haven't enjoyed a detective program as much since Columbo. there are some weak episodes, sure-- but overall, I find Tony Shalhoub's OCD detective to be completely entertaining.

I don't watch it weekly, but USA always runs those marathons and I'll easily fritter away a lazy sunday evening taking in a few.

Yes. This is a good show, but as you suggest, I too am delinquent in keeping up. I'll watch 6 in a row and then forget about it for months. It's not the sort of show that's a series insofar as they're individual episodes.

I've got a big crush on Natalie for some reason.

The idea of an OCD detective is so obvious it's brilliant and overlooked. You have to be OCD to get the details. They just ramp it up for comedy's sake and it works.

Maybe the one drawback is that it's always so obvious who's the bad guy.

I like it where he walks through the big vagina.

There's an early episode where Monk has to fly somewhere, and there's this annoying kid sitting in front of him who asks him, "Pete and Repeat are in a boat. Pete jumps out. Who's left?" The look of agony on Shalhoub's face when he is physically unable to not say "repeat" time after time after time had me on the floor.

Also, Tony Shalhoub is a native of Green Bay.

NOT CRAP! This show is fucking gold.

fantastic.

No! Shit. I need to see that. Turturo is sort of a super Michael Cain: You know he could steal the show, but for some reason or other, he takes smaller parts and works magic with them. I'd put Hackman in this class to.

I cannot refute your point about Columbo. Perhaps it's because Columbo proceeded more from character traits than from physical evidence that I have this opinion.

Were they to make a movie of the Republic, Peter Falk would have to play Socrates.

Do you mean to tell me, Adeimantus, that justice is not good for the unjust man's soul?

Really enjoyable and often very funny.

There are definitely some clunkers, but not many.

The whole cast is great, especially Ted Levine as Captain Stottlemeyer. I keep waiting for the writers to give him a scene in a supermarket where he asks someone to put the lotion in the basket.

Natalie is hotter than Sharona. By far. Her kid is also less annoying.
