I'd say that between the monkeys and the typewriters there have already been about 1000 new Slint records...

It'd be interesting to see, but I doubt it for some reason. Although, with the way their touring schedule has gone from one-off festival dates to a couple here, a couple there...we have have another Dinosaur Jr on our hands.

but if they did, wouldn't it be funny if we all waited and waited, got totally excited, and they turned out something that sounded like... oasis?

They are thinking about recording new stuff.

I hear they are going to play one show in NYC after the European tour and then factor in the members' schedule when considering recording new music.

I don't have a problem with them recording new material, but I would prefer they change their name.

I think Slint should do whatever they want to do.
