Zodiac.

Eye, ear, and character-actor candy. One-ups Michael Mann, with the hi-definition video and the focus on guys obsessed with their work.

ZODIAC didn't seem like 2hrs and 45 min. long, so I must have liked it.

They stuck to the facts and the VIPER digital camera is the BOMB. Great period details, also. NOT CRAP!

I'm really looking forward to seeing this. The Zodiac is really intriguing to me because he just stopped killing one day and went away. Ingenious! That's how you do it folks.

I guess I can't answer this poll, as of yet, but as a serial killer: NOT CRAP.

I doubt I'll see a better film this year. It takes awhile to get set up, but once it does, man it just pulls you in. Fincher's use of "Hurdy Gurdy Man" has been creepin' me out all week.

Great movie, from the performances and awesome digital camera work down to the obsessively detailed date stamps on every single scene. I'm really excited to see what Fincher does after this film, as it shows a huge progression from the empty style exercises of his worst films (The Game and The Panic Room).

Oh yeah, Roger Rabbit and Drew Carey's brother were both fucking creepy.

I never got into it. So slow it was almost ambient at times. And I like slow, if there is a slow rhythm. I don't know if it was the editing or what, but this film had no rhythm. Ruffalo is good, Gylenhall is adequate, Downey was bad ( his diction has gotten so bad, I wanted subtitles ).

Not crap, only when compared to the genre and the overall Hollywood output.

totally fucking stupendous. i've been interested in the zodiac since i was around 11. in an interview, fincher (who lived in california during the time of the killings) called the zodiac the 'ultimate boogeyman' and i have to agree.

he made some questionable editing and time compression choices but overall, i think this is as close as it gets to the definitive statement on the subject.

NOT CRAP.
