I was sure this wasn't true but I managed to find an
interview that refered to this. Man, I am surprised I never heard this anywhere. From an old

I didn't find much more than that either.
However, I did come across this quote from RL Burnside referring to the guy he killed:

Played with 'em once. They were dicks. Not sure if that's the reason I disliked their music, but I haven't heard it since.
