I have the vestax handitrax and the speaker is alright, it's not that loud but it's about as good as you can expect a portable system to be, I took it on holiday to new york a few years ago to listen to records i was buying while i was in the hotel i was staying in, and have taken it to listen to outside and stuff.. it's cool!

What do you need it for- isn't easier just to copy records onto computer and put them on an mp3 player/CD/whatever?
