Emphatically NOT CRAP from me, but I've met people who can't stand her. I hear her next record is all vocals processed (beatboxing, Mike Patton, Tuvan thraot singers, etc.).

She could stop releasing CD singles any day, though.

Not Crap here too. Very unique, very singular. I liked the Sugar Cubes as well. What ever hapened to that guy, the guy that did the 'she es tired of her od toys...she vants new toys' bit? Did she just leave those guys in the dust or are they still active somewhere. (I have only heard about the drummer Siggy who seems to still put out records in Iceland from time to time over the years.) Does anyone know or should I google?

I have many of her records, including many alternative versions and remix stuff. I like the way she's been able to work in the industry and maintain a fair level of integrity in her music.

She's Matthew Barney's girlfriend wich is, like, soo cool.

A friend of mine noted that Bjork makes all those noises you make when you're a kid before you're taught not to. A nice insight, I think. I like the idea of Bjork I guess, maybe. But that irrepressable cuteness could be a little more repressed for my liking. I liked her performance in "Dancer in the Dark though.

Although I can't fathom the desire to listen to one of her albums in one sitting, I say not crap.

Bjork is amazing. One of the best live act's i've ever seen. Very cute as well.

She's a popular artist. One of the only ones I can think of.

Bjork's a dork, (okay, a few songs, and a couple videos are alright) but I would've killed to see the Bjork/Bonnie Billy pairing last year.

any or her songs that i enjoy, i enjoy in spite of her singing on them. i liked the tracks she did with matmos, but would have liked them much more had she not been involved. i think she's terribly, terribly overrated, and her schtick (look how unusual i am! isn't this music quirky?) is beyond tiresome. an emphatic CRAP vote from me. and i hated the sugarcubes as well.
