I heard this at the store the other day, and I found myself liking it, although I had no idea who it was. I googled. I know nothing about Mr. Swan, but I love that two note organ.
Ed note: I need to brush up on my music history..this guy was emptying ashtrays during the making of 'blonde on blonde' and has recorded with Kris Kristofferson. D'oh! I thought it was a one-hit wonder thing. Wasn't it?

2I always liked that song, because it was weird in a Ringo way, but it also represents a time in radio before everything became so formatted. They would play it on top forty stations and easy listening stations.
Another song like that was "What Would You Say?" by Hurricane Smith (Norman Smith, one of the Beatle's engineers). It was so out of left field and old-timey, but I still wound up liking it.

3It is very Ringo. The guitar break rules. I picture a middle-aged guy with a paunch and a ducktail singing it.

4It sounded like something Jeff Lynne would've produced...I wondered for a second if it was The Traveling Wilburys..
