2Not good. Hopefully the first one was just a one-off loon, and the new turns out to be nothing more than the product of paranoia.

4I saw loads of police last night around the city. Even the checkpoints on London Bridge were manned when I went past them at about one in the morning. which I haven't seen for a while.

7The really crappy thing about this is the location. Virtually the only people down there are tourists. If it was to go off in the afternoon or early evening it would be 90% non-residents, families etc.
I'm not saying it would be ok to take out UK people... just that most of the people in this area are just minding their own business & taking photo's of the buildings.
