one time, back when i was a lil baby, this song came on the radio while i was sleeping in my car seat. apparently, as soon as the intro got going, i sat bolt upright and proceeded to bob my head til the song was over, at which point I promptly went back to sleep.

Well, that's the way my mom always tells it...guess how many times I've heard this little anecdote? (usually when mi madre is chatting it up with the other forty-somethings about how "they all grow up so fast")

The answer is 27. I've been keeping tally. And that's not even counting all the times I fled the scene when the parents brought their friends over.

Ok. I haven't really been keeping tally. But I'd say 27 is a pretty fair estimate. Plus I like numbers that end in primes.

By the way, the guy in the above photo looks a lot like a cross between David Carradine and that one guy from Law & Order.
