2008 Winter Wiffleball Classic!

Hey you EA Wiffleballers. The two year strike has taken its toll. Finally we are going to start (and end) the new season at the Logan Square Auditorium.
I started a campaign at thepoint.com to organize the event, and test out Andrew's website a bit. There is a set day, Wednesday the 20th of February. It is far enough away that you can schedule around it. The Logan Square Auditorium is an ideal venue with wide open spaces and an uper deck. They are giving us a deal since we aren't hundreds of drunk retards, only dozens. The $600 goal of the campaign will cover the fees. We can bring beers, and girlfriends. It will be fun and stupid. So much fun and stupid it will last whole month.
If you want to play, sign in on the site and pledge the $30 (you will have to pay $30 if the "campaign" is a success). We will only do this if we get enough people, as is the theme of the website. So, there won't be a situation where 7 of us show up for a lame game. It will either happen and be fun, or it won't happen at all.
If you think $30 is too steep, think how much it cost to spend $30 on something else.. Not so bad now huh?
