What I need is someone who can go through my beloved-and-much-abused Silvertone 1484 and not just fix it up a bit but full-on make the damn thing bulletproof. I love the sound more than anything I've ever played, but it's old and fragile and Shit Goes Wrong.

Ron used to be the tech at MidWest Buy & Sell. Another guy who has left me 100% satisfied. Builds his own tube amps. In Wooddale, but worth the trip for quality service.

What about Tim Schroeder? I've heard good things. Last time I saw Wilco they were playing some of his amps.
