This is nice and all, but it still doesn't explain Duelin' Firemen...

David Yow's actually not a bad actor.

There's a little seen indie feature called Bullet on a Wire, by Jim Sikora, in which he has a feature role.

The movie itself...not great, but it has its moments and it's an interesting enough plot and narrarative, and Yow's pretty good in it.

I thought he was great in Walls In The City.

I've heard about this for a while: it looks pretty interesting. The movie is supposed to be a really fucked up take on the "revenge" kind of western, which is kinda fucked up through tradition anyways (High Plains Drifter).

Yow looks pretty scary.

Eh...I'm really not to keen on Jim Sikora's Super 8 stuff, and I like Super 8 narraratives, generally.

Danny Plotnick's Super 8 stuff, on the other hand, I dig. Underseen comic genius.

+1. I actually have this movie, which was written by Joe Carducci, and I'm still undecided on it. I will say, however, that Yow's performance was one of the highlights.

I saw a clip from some black and white movie he did a while ago where he was wearing a lot of makeup and moving like a lizard... anyone know the name of that? I always wanted to see it. Something really creepy/intriguing about it.
