I've been playing NES games all day. Double Dragon rules.
If you don't want to get fired, don't install this plug in.

2Damn it, work is not going to suck any longer. What am I going to complain about outside of work?

3I have an NES emulator for the Mac that's pretty great. It's called Nestopia.
Also, you can get any game-pad and be able to play these games like the good ol' days.

4not sure if this is different, and I don't used Firefox, but there have been NES emulators for windows for years and years. You can already play pretty much any NES game, Sega Genesis game... my personal favorites are the Commodore 64 and Apple IIgs emulators.
Basically you can already play a ton of games for a buttload of different platforms going all the way back to pre-NES stuff.
Just Google for emulator and whatever platform you're interested in.

5Can it do two-player?
I'm assuming "no" since it's controlled via the keyboard, right?
Doubles would be ultra cool.

Don't standard emulators allow it by having different keysets on the keyboards? Just set your seating arrangment up so that you're not "on top" of each other.

Some emulators do two player via network, which is cool. All of them support as many players as the actual platforms supported. Using USB game pads are pretty simple with this, so you can play other things than turn-based games with your friends. My N64 emulator was cool, we had 4 player Mario Kart 64 going on at one point.

10I bought a USB adaptor for like $10 that allows me to plug one of my PS2 controllers into a PC. This was critical so I could play the best videogame ever, Raid On Bungeling Bay.
Emulators rule.
