I heard what I believe to be a song off of this album on Q101 one night last week. I'm not sure what the name of it was but I am sure it was not from St. Anger because of the production.
It sounded like Puppets/ Justice era Metallica gone mathy with Hetfield singing like he has since the Black album. It wasn't all that heavy sounding though. It had a lot of the old time-y Metallica harmony guitar stuff going on.
By mathy I mean it had a ton of changes even compared to their old stuff, not that it used compound or ever changing meters. It just switched riffs a lot.
I too would love to see them issue another feature length comedy in conjunction with this release. It would have to include Rick Rubin. I don't know much about him, but I would have to think he has to be pretty weird and would make a great foil for Lars and the boys. Kinda like Loral and Hardy meet Frankenstein.
