I liked the Constant Hitmaker LP, but seeing him live with just an acoustic soured me on mr. vile.Crap.

I'm listening now for the first time. When does it stop being boring?

Right now, total n/c, but I'm seeing him on saturday and I don't know if this will change...

Listening to his new record stream on NPR. It's the first time I've ever heard him. It's not terrible and I can kind of see the merits of it, but it's not really my bag.

Gave him more of a shot than I normally would have based on Tom Scharpling championing and playing his music all the time.Not for me.CRAP.

Saw him open for Fucked Up. I thought it was thoroughly underwhelming.The Square Shells EP is OK, but I really have no interest in delving further into this guy's discography. If I want to hear a weird looking dude play folky acoustic stuff, I'll listen to Neil YoungCRAP

I heard the feature on NPR too. While there's nothing too objectionable this type of earnest dadrock, I can't fathom why it's earning so much critical praise. It wasn't even recorded in a remote Midwestern cabin by a heartbroken beard-o.And why the hell is True Widow opening for this guy on tour? I don't see much overlap in their respective audiences.

I saw him live, I didn't see what was so dadrocky about it. Yet. From what I saw it seemed cool.I withhold judgment, I only watched about three of his songs while waiting for the Odd Future Wolfgang Circus.
