You have Shellac, Silkworm, JRLP/Downer Trio, Karate, end-period Don Caballero, end-period Bitch Magnet, early Seam, the Minutemen, Mission of Burma (not counting tape manipulation, of course), Volcano Suns...plenty of different trios.
Failing any of those, you could always go Canadian with Rush and Triumph.
