totally NOT CRAP. no waffle. brilliant musicians making interesting music. nothing bad to say about that band. the sum of the parts was truly greater than the sum of the parts, or something like that.

I voted "not", tho it pained me to do so.

CRAP. The Police were an abysmal band.

I've never bothered to listen to their entire catalogue, but I've heard more than the stuff that gets played on the radio, and I think a good 98% of what I've heard is wanky, irredeemable garbage. "Can't Stand Losing You", "Murder By Numbers", and "O My God" (Is that what it's called? I think it is...) are tolerable, but barely.

I actually dislike the drummer (Stuart Copeland?) more than I do Sting, though it's a close race. There are few drummers who annoy me more than him. I hate show-offy playing, and all three of the bandmembers were constantly guilty of it.

Sting can suck it for being named a verb and for claiming to be able to fuck for like 16 hours or some other rediculous and unnatural length. The rest of them can suck it for that stupid video where they dance around in the control room swapping hats, for their reggae cum whiteboy pinnacle of lameness sound, for the perputual slo-mo ska guitar and Sting's awful backing vocal lines and his voice in general.

Are you kidding? Not crap.
