Hey all,,, new to this forum,,,,Just recently acquired a thermionic effects TE-01 tube pedal from a friend and it is not working. I am looking to have this repaired and would like to try to reach the original manufacturer. Any thoughts or recommendations? Fuse looks good but I have not checked the tube yet... one LED has fallen into the housing and my friend stated that the pedal doesn't have it nuts anymore, possible tube replacement maybe??Anyways, I want to send it to someone and have it repaired proper...Any help would be appreciated!-D.Lee

Piggybacking on an old thread: has anyone noticed that these pedals sound better towards the front of the chain? I tried to put it at the end of 4 or 5 pedals and it sounded much duller than usual. Not bad, just not as bright as I noticed it was before.

Yeah I've had that experience I put it after a super hard on once and it got pretty murky. great at the front of the chain though.

Never really noticed that myself, but most of my use of the TE-01 has been a last in chain always on "preamp" into a solid state head for bass. Always thought it sounded great getting driven harder by a KWB or Rat.

Probably depends on a few factors.
