I've heard this same rumor, and I think I heard one of the bandmembers left the country. I don't remember where I heard this, and I hope it isn't true...

I believe one of the members moved from DC to Hawaii, so they aren't very active but haven't broken up. There are new tour dates listed on the Thrill Jockey page.

Maybe something good can come out of their time apart, because the last two albums sucked.

they're playing with the fucking champs here in sydney next week, so i hope they haven't split...

It says "you are teh(the) ghey llama(lamer)" in what I think is known as "1337 (leet=elite)"...

I saw a T-shirt written in leet once it said
"If you can read this then you probably don't have a girlfriend either"

i thought it was a regex, or a "regular expression" and i thought "later, when i am motivated by boredom, i'll parse it out"

Regex would've been MUCH more elite than 1337-speak. Sayin'.

Oh yeah Trans Am - two of the members have moved to other areas, Phil to California to join the Fucking Champs and Nathan to Australia to be with his girlfriend, or something. Rumors of them breaking up abound, but they keep playing shows so apparently the rumors haven't hit them yet.
