Glasgow recommendations

We’re visiting Glasgow for three nights in a couple of weeks. We’ve been briefly before, liked it, but barely scratched the surface. Do any of you have any recommended places to go? We’re still mulling over whether to lug our bikes over. Would love to meet any PRF’ers free in the vicinity.

I’m quite out the loop of what’s good in Glasgow, especially with the ‘rona, but the City Chambers is definitely worth a visit. Absolutely spectacular.

Kelvingrove Gallery is great too, as is the Willow Tearoom.

Food-wise, 6 by Nico is amazing though almost certainly fully booked in advance, the Ubiquitous Chip is great, Mother India is great…I’m sure there tens of other great restaurants but I’ve not been out in Glasgow for a while. Plenty of cool places in Dennistoun, Finniestoun I’m told.

Bikes - yeah bring them! There is an excellent cyclepath along the Clyde. And the Kelvin walkway too. Some good info here:

This photo though, from today. Real tears. Don’t fuck with Glasgow.

What a bizarre picture. Looks like the van was scared to drive through the crowd so the police formed a protective barrier around it.

What was actually going on?
