This thing is on permanant rotation on our cable music channel and the Jools presenter guy SHITS ME FUCKING BLIND the way he MUMBLES the names of the goddamn bands!
I can never catch who the the FUCK they are.
Would it kill you to do your core job one fucking time and ENUNCIATE the one thing you are there to do more clearly ffs?
90% of the bands I've seen on the show are boring as hell but it would be nice to fucking know who they are.
Did they EVER have any mental rad bands on the thing ffs?
CRAP.

2Lacklustre list for me. With some exceptions.jason_from_volo wrote: Fri May 14, 2021 9:25 pmhttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of ... ls_Holland
Battles.
This song tricked me into buying the "Mirrored" album... which, with the exception of this song, soon annoyed the hell out of me. Just too twee and irritating
Once you can make peace with the vocal styling, a hell of a performance though. The drummer, holy shit, the drummer.

3Good show, NC. Extra points for that time At the Drive-In scared Van Morrison out of the building.

4Does anyone know where to find extensive archives of old Later... episodes, digitally or otherwise? I'm looking for the episode from June 3, 1995 with The Vulgar Boatmen.

5I kinda love how you just posted about Battles on the PRF like none of us have heard of this "obscure band" before. We all know who John "the drummer" Stanier is and were worshiping him as far back as 15 years before the video you just posted was made.Rocky Rockbottom wrote: Fri May 14, 2021 9:59 pmLacklustre list for me. 7Can't seem to find the old Battles thread, must have been one of the ones that got wiped for good, but it had one of the highest number of posts in the entire C/NC subforum. It was just funny to me the way you described the band, and here of all places.

8No, this show is good. When I had a TV it was always entertaining. Not when the had Crystal Castles on but 80% worth it.

10Yep, but they played another song that I'm looking for. The guy who uploaded this didn't have it.Curry Pervert wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 7:00 amYou mean this?Leeplusplus wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 11:58 pm Does anyone know where to find extensive archives of old Later... episodes, digitally or otherwise?
