I like songs that meander, and I like songs that are noisy, so I like this track. It's certainly a million times better than "Turn it Around," which is a track I don't skip even though it reaches Starship levels of awful.

NC. I'll take it over the horrible run of "How to Skin a Cat"/"Whatcha Drinkin'"/"Plans I Make" that ends New Day Rising.

IMO, the only two really great Huskers album closers are "Gravity" and "You Can Live At Home Now".

Love it. I definitely never skip it. Really, I can't imagine Zen Arcade without it, even though I get where a lot of people are coming from. People have said similar things about Tago Mago and Freak Out!

I dunno MAN, smoke a joint and give it another spin, then it might all start to make sense.

I've listened to this record so much in my life, so even though I don't love the song, I can't imagine Zen Arcade without it. It is part of the DNA of that record.

I definitely skip it sometimes if I am not in the mood. IIRC, my dubbed cassette copy that I used to listen to in my car back in the day omitted this song.

I like a lot of jammy instrumental stuff but this song sucks.

In any other place it would be ok, but Turn on the News is such a perfect album closer so when this other thing comes on it's kind of "what?". I agree, it's dumb.

The last track never did it for me so I vote crap. Perhaps a stupid question, but without Reoccurring Dreams, does Zen Arcade still qualify as a double album?

I mean they leveled 60's rock with "Eight Miles High" so I think ending on a warped, hallucinatory instrumental only makes sense. They were adamant that they were moving past punk rock and this song cements it.

It wouldn't be Zen Arcade without it.

I agree that being stoned and playing it at top volume help it make "sense," but the band was going for the throat across the entire album, how is this song so different?

Just a reminder that in the world where Zen Arcade ends up a single LP, then Double Nickels doesn't turn into a double album.
