Hard to pin down.

Not crap

Voted NC. The bulk of their stuff isn't to my taste, but I enjoy their having such breadth under the one umbrella.

I've only heard one of their albums - ATGCLVLSSCAP - and it was interesting. 'Nowhere (Sweet Sixteen)' does sound like one of those dark, 80s-style pop songs.

They were supposed to play Psycho Las Vegas last year, but then Covid happened. If they show up on the lineup again, that would be an enticement to buy a ticket.

I'm voting CRAP.

I've tried. The first three were ok but not nearly visceral enough.

After that? Yikes. The synth pop stuff is absolute garbage.

This coming from a guy that owns a couple of Visage CDs.

On paper I should be a big fan (they tend to migrate to genres and ideas that I like), but I think their music is generally rubbish and derivative. Too cultured and tasteful to get their hands dirty enough to create their own culture. Also easily one of the worst live shows I've ever seen.

I've come around to Bergtatt and Nattens Madrigal and today I quite enjoy them.

Nathan's Matringile is great but I haven't heard any others. Sounds like they have some duds but I'll give them a Not Crap for simply not being proto-incel neo-nazi bridge trolls like most of their peers... bar is pretty low.

There's a big ol' wolfsangle on the cover of the 4th album, so you may need to purge and repent.

I stand by my original crap vote; these guys and Gorgoroth are the two duds in the Norwegian 2nd wave pack.

Aw man, that's a bummer. I thought I'd heard at some point that they were relatively normal guys. Purge and repent I shall.
