Based on this one song, I'm in.

Pretty much what you'd expect: the last Hot Snakes album production w/ Rob Crow-isms (nasal double-tracked voice & odd time shifts), which if you love those 2 then great. (neither do much for me at this point)

The amazing thing to me is how such a minimal rhythm guitar approach is so recognizable. Swami just clangs his downstrokes and it all feels like home.

But I am sucker for anything with Reis on guitar.

While it kinda hurts to say it, Atom was the only really interesting thing about that tune...

I'm changing my opinion to "it's okay" until I hear more. The more I listen to it the less I like it. Still not crap but waffling.

It's the sort of track that I love, listen to 15 times in a day, then never return to.

The Pinback guy. Another old San Diego scene guy. I think he was in that Heavy Vegetable band back in the day.
