Why these two exactly? They're pretty different!

Mooney probably has the greater comedy imagination though Davidson gets by on his lovable fuckup charm. I think he ended up in rehab again this week and I worry he'll end up being another Belushi/Farley..

Dunno. As far as recent cast I'm a fan of Sarah Sherman aka Sarah Squirm. Impressively disgusting stuff.

Are they? I tend to find them both unfunny, hence the pairing, but it's all subjective.

Thinking deeper I laugh at Pete Davidson doing "Chad" but it's a challenge finding any Kyle Mooney skit uproarious. I'm really not aware of either's standup, so there is that.

Davidson, while inconsistent and occasionally insufferable, has participated in skits that have elicited belly laughs from me. I can't say the same for Mooney, at least nothing that I remember.

Davidson gets my vote.

Not standup but Bupkis (Davidson) is pretty good. I wanted to like Mooney's saturday morning cartoon show more because an old friend did the music for it.

Easily the best new cast member in years. Her body horror comedy stuff is great, but also love her Update appearances that involve just ragging on Colin Jost the whole time.

Actually in retrospect it would have been much nicer to say "Courtney is a human being deserving of respect."

Mooney is kinda funny and smart methinks.

Davidson is not.

There are like 100 better cast members though.
