Not knowing anything about the videogame, I had a lot of fun watching this. Thumbs up to Walton Goggins and the Twin Peaks references too.

I'm a fan of the videogame, but I don't compare the series to it.

It's fun and well done. It entertains.

Season 2 coming mid December. New Vegas!

The writing and atmosphere have been delicious, which are the qualities I liked most in the games. Beyond this, the show looks perfect and has competent acting. I couldn’t ask for more.

Cool show. Nice mix of zany fun and brutal apocalypticism. Never played the game before. Goggins is an icon and Parnell is all big pretty eyes.

My oldest kid showed the first few episodes to me a couple of months ago. I was initially intrigued, but my interest waned by the second episode.

For whatever reason, post-apocalypse shows/films always fail to meet my expectations.

Season 2 really lost me. I'm not sure why it became so boring.

This is a weird one. My wife watches it, so by proxy I'm also watching it now and then. Saw most of the first season and the first two episodes of the second.

The constituent parts of something really great seem to be there....but it just never lands the plane. Burn victim dude is like a poorly drawn Stephen King character, and he was kinda the hook for the show.

Nothing seems to add up for me.

Will likely keep watching because it'll be on tv.

In season two you can feel the "video gameness" of it more, and I'm not enjoying it as much. It's one of the problems I have with The Last of Us.

Second season is much more explicitly referential of a specific game (Fallout: New Vegas).

It's just OK. I don't detect much if any of the pre-Bethesda games in the tone of the show, which is a real shame.

The three leads (MacLachlan, Purnell, Goggins) are good but that's not too surprising.
