I think their solo efforts are equally as boring and a drag to listen to... although I like the way Joe Walsh talks... well not like but you know...I think it's funny how he sounds like an idiot.

Probably the band I hate most. The fact that the Eagles have sold more records than anybody else makes me sad.

I will give Don Henley one tiny waffle factor for getting up on stage with Mojo Nixon to sing "Don Henley Must Die."

Still, I guess the Eagles serve an important purpose, if only to distinguish bad music from good.

There was an SNL skit a few years back where Ben Stiller and a couple of other chaps were at a bar and Glen Frey (played by Will Ferrell) walks into the bar. Stiller says that "the H is O", and tries to get Ferrell into bed. He does and it's humiliating (Ferrell makes Stiller eat dog food, etc). I laughed at Ferrell's portrayal and the whole "the H is O" thing.

This skit and that scene in The Big Lebowski are the only good things that have ever come as a result of the Eagles' existence.

yes, that skit was wonderful. Wasn't it like a short film that Stiller did with the guys on his own and brought it in? I remember something about that..
