Castlevania on Netflix. It is both the best western anime and the best video game film adaptation, by far (not high bars) and this crushes. In between engaging action choreography, it's a story about love and the philosophy of power. Acting is A+.

What tape recorders would you recommend for a small project studio? Both for tracking and stereo mixing. I don't care about format or price but space is premium. (4 tracks are sufficient.)

I would suggest that the best way to learn synths is to get your hands on one and fuck around until you start to get it. Reference the manual and learn all the knobs / connections / functions. The world of synthesizers is so deep you can paralyze yourself with learning for years before you play one...
