If you have a multi meter, disconnect the cable from the PWRSPLY and point check all the power pins. Maybe you have a manual, but powersupplies of that era often have the pin voltage marked on the supply and sometimes at the board side as well. if the PS is shooting out the right voltage, its time to open the console, if it isn't, it's time to open the power supply (if you are comfortable doing that) and hope that its just some internal fuses.Mason wrote: Sat Jun 12, 2021 2:38 pm My TEAC 15 console has stopped powering on suddenly. Hmm, it sounds like a canned sample, revised 808 type of sound. So there could be some square wave element to it, but it doesn't sound all grindy like a distorted kick drum.
