the right channel out of the stereo buss of my tascam 388 is only getting partial signal. The right channel of the Aux/EFF buss, though, gets full signal. Any ideas what the problem is? Anybody know a good place to get these machines serviced in NYC or Long Island? thanks.

Do you get this through the headphones jacks as well as the stereo outs?

yes i get it through both outputs, I tested it with both speakers and headphones and different cables.

did you try pouring beer on it?

hey! just a little more advice... when you're saying that one thing did not work and, in addition, another thing did not work, it should be phrased "neither _____ nor ______ worked" rather than "neither _____ or _______."
