Hey kerble, it was Crazy Lady's friends who treated Hippie Mom like crap. They started ridiculing her when she mentioned being raised in the Unitarian Universalist Church, asking Hippie Mom if she believed in a "higher power" such that they and the terrorists were all the same (!) or if she believed in Jesus. Hippie Mom believes in "God", but they were just awful to her.

It was really neat. Crazy Lady's friends were just awesome - awesomely badger-torturing batshit nuts. Also, cruel. Hippie Mom kept it together, though.

Earlier, Crazy Lady freaked out because Hippie Family had a star on their garage in the backyard - they assured her it wasn't "that kind of star", but she was whigged. She started smelling something weird and running around puking, too.

If Crazy Lady spends all her time with those nasty friends of hers, she was reacting to being around anything different as much as/more than actual Christian objections.

These are the lengths I will go to to avoid studying. Sincerely, bumble

The wife and I missed the end of Lost last night (what happened?) to watch this freak. Wow. So funny, but so ridiculous. Very scary that there a lot of people like her out there. Fuck these kind of "Christians."

I got a huge laugh out of my lady this morning when the first thing I said upon waking up was...

"I'm a God warrior! I've sown the seeds and I will see the harvest! gargoyles! I rebuke it in the name of the lord! Get out of my house!"

Edit: Forgot to mention how classic it is that after this vulgar display of self righteousness, declaring that she wouldn't take money from "the dark side," that she did indeed take the 50 grand.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

DUDE.

You watched everything but the end of Lost?

Dude.

You missed it.

Yeah, I know, but I couldn't flip back with the God warrior going off and all.

That's OK, because for some reason it seems like they can only make like three new episodes of that show at a time and then there are reruns for a while until they can make three more. I'll see it at some point.

Don't worry about it being "a lot". I've been to a number of Christian churches that I will estimate to be in the 30-50 range. And I have never met a single person that was anything like this woman. I know there are other people out there like her. But the nominal overly-zealous Christian is not this nutso.

This woman has serious psychological issues that would be plainly manifest if she were an Atheist or a Satanist or a you-name-it. She's just plain nuts. If anything, it's probably a good thing she's on the Christian tip, rather than an occult tip. She may well be the kinda person who would be sacrificing kids to try and win magical powers from the devil, because it seems clear that she believes in the power of evil magic.

Her lock on reality might need a new tumbler or ten.

True. Plus, next week is an "extended episode" (what? 5 extra minutes?) that shows the history of the Tailaways, so they'll probably end the episode in the same place that this one ended or something.

Yeah, I agree, she is a fruitcake, Christian or not.

I was kind of getting at that there are plenty of over zealous, self righteous Christians out there who think that if you don't believe in their version of God and/or Christianity that you are somehow "dark sided" and a bad person. That mindset is just plain baffling to me.
