Ok i know i just posted that i need an acoustic mic, but i just cant make up my mind on weather to get one or just an overall good recording mic. I have to get it from guitar center cause I get really good deals from somebody i know there. Here are the mics they have in stock:
AKG C4000B
AKG C414B XLS
Blue Bottle
Bluebird 222000
Groove GT57
Groove GT55
Groove GT66
Neumann TLM 103 LG
Shure SM81LC
Soundelux U195
Right now i have a Rode NTK that I use for vocals and guitars. I guess just let me know if any of you have heard bad reviews from any of these mics. thanks!

2U195, GT67, XLS, and BLUE Baby Bottle (I don't think you were talking about the $4k+ Bottle mic) are all fine choices.

3The AKG C414 can sound excellent on acoustic guitar. They sound quite different from your usual vocal condenser and are quyite distinctive.
They are also nice as overheads and I've recorded electric guitar with it before with very good results.
I have heard some bad things about the GT mics, but I have never heard one myself.
The Blue microphones could be cool. They were going through a rough patch though recently. I'd want to know what capsule was being used in the one I bought since they changed them recently.
If given the choice though, I'd probably take a 414.

AKG C4000B Not in a million years unless free
AKG C414B XLS Fine choice all around
Blue Bottle If it'sthe big one grab it. If it's the baby, known for very colored sound.
Bluebird 222000 Probably similar to the Baby Bottle. Replaced teh BB as Blue's cheapest mic.
Groove GT57
Groove GT55
Groove GT66 All acceptable choices.
Neumann TLM 103 LG Overpriced INO
Shure SM81LC Great for acoustic git and OH, among other things.
Soundelux U195 If you can afford it, I'd go for it.
Wish my local GC had Sondeluxe

8I have a GT55 and I find that it accentuates sibiliance on singers who are prone to it. I love it on guitars though.

Really? No love for the C-414?
I also really like the SM-81, but I dont know this "LC" tag on the end. Is that something that's always been there and that Ive been ignoring?
