also, there was a band in missoula, montana called the banned, and i was just thinking about them for the first time in ages the other day. they were good! my band played with them often, despite the fact that their fans had no use for us. they were very funny guys and probably still are.

I'm pretty much in agreement with you here. The visual image offered up by the words "Nurse With Wound" is definitely nice and pretty funny to me...

However, I think the visual image of a napkin soaking up some spilt soda (i.e. Napkin vs. Soda) is even funnier.

Mr brother wanted me to call our band Johnny Casino and The Gamblers. It's from Grease originally.

I was on vacation in Brighton, England and came across a flier for a band named Anal Beard which my wife and I thought was hillarious.

The even funnier thing was when two years later I mastered a punk rock compliation for a local guy and he included a song by the aforementioned Anal Beard. Made me laugh even more....

I was in a one off band that went by Johnny Anus and the Turd Burglars. We thought we were clever...we may have been wrong.

The best funny band name I've heard yet is:
