My pretty pony! Why, Zorak, why? You could have had any woman you wanted! But you chose the woman I love almost as much as I love myself! You ruined my life, you ruined her life, and now, I'm going to ruin your life!!!

5510 years ago I was 19... So that would be Pixies, Sonic Youth, Eric's Trip, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Bedhead. I was starting to see some local bands- Morsel, Chore, The Fags (not the same band that is currently out there), Demolition Doll Rods, etc. Good times. (Best times).
I still like all that stuff and still find I can learn from these bands.
15 years ago is another story, I had pretty confused taste. It was a result of being a computer geek and playing in high school orchestra. Art of Noise, Yello, Information Society, Bel Biv Devoe, Star Wars sound track, Samuel Barber. I used to listen to lots of MODs. Purple Motion and Moby (now El Mobo) were favorites.

Yes it is. But I don't recall Mogwai having released anything until 1997. Am I wrong on this?

I really liked this band 10 years ago. I still do I guess, but I never really listen to them. Still around, aren't they? They got all "electronicy" I think...
Yeah. I think pretty much it got down to just two people, the singer and the bass guitarist. It hurts to say this but I don't really like the most recent album "para siempre" (around 3 years ago). But the EP they released in 96 is still great to listen to. They still have a website, so I'm hoping they're still around.. The remix of squeeze box medicine is wicked..

58I am calling bullshit on probably half of you.
Ten years ago I listened to 95% shit music.
bad metal. fake major label rebellion. I was not born listening to good stuff. metal lead me into punk. I actually got into good, real punk on accident I guess. Punk led me to Iggy, nick cave. I liked weird and different.
But ten years ago- not so good.

What about the possibility that we're all of different ages?
