Is there any convenient way to get from Kenosha to Milwaukee? Metra to Kenosha is simple enough, but I've never been able to figure out the second leg. Thanks in advance.

Amtrak will take you the whole way there.

Yes! Amtrack is pretty cheap, is it not? And the stop in Milwaukee is downtown, and you could literally walk to the Todd Weir from the station.

Amtrak will take you the whole way there.

Edit: to go Amtrak's webpage and search for CHI to MKE. 1.5 hours, $21.

I quite honestly had never even thought of Amtrak before, for no good reason. Much obliged.

Hey, I'm totally psyched about the show tonight.

If anyone is coming up, at this point I'd say don't worry about the show selling out / getting in. Pre-sales have been strong and publicity hit the major papers, but in the unlikely event it would sell out (unikely because the unique layout of the venue makes the legal capacity abnormally high) I'll have the person doing door (which may well be me) aware some people from the Electrical Board might come up, and you'll be on a 'to pay' list.

Just say "I'm a total fucking nerd who sits on the computer far too much, like Sieracki" and you're in, sans a tenspot.

nerdly,

RS

I was waffling on this the entire drive home from the T&G festival, but I finally decided that I will make the four hour drive to Milwaukee for this. Even though I'm pretty tired, and my company for the drive has backed out, and I'm probably gonna end up sleeping in my car somewhere. There is no way I could forgive myself for not being there when I don't have to work, and I have enough gas money.

See you all there.
