i bought this poster back in 99 (maybe 2000) and i was wondering if anyone knew who the artist was.

According to Gigposters.com the artist's name is Mat Daly

Definitely the work of Mat Daly. He played guitar in the now-defunct Taking Pictures.

Mat is a really great artist - http://www.matdaly.com - and a great guy as well. He works with Jay at Bird Machine.

taking pictures recorded an album called 'friends are ghosts'.

noah, the drummer, has gone on to be in challenger and some other bands. matt jencik, the bass player, just joined some other really big band.

wow, i have 2 other newer mat daly pieces and i would have never guessed it was the same guy. thanks for filling me in. now to track down that album.
