what do you kids know about them...? aside from the fact that every "heavy" band in the world is using them right now. apparently, they're cheap and sound amazing.

want some real opinions. if you can't tell, the guitarist of my band has been having issues - he needs a new cab, i'm wondering if these are a viable option...

and cheap and good sounding are two great tastes that taste great together.

if he doesn't like these you can get avatar's loaded with any damn speaker you like.

I don't know much about the cabs themsevles, but the other day I met Dylan. He's the guy that owns/ runs (?) the company. He seemed pretty cool.

We discussed hardware and I told him about the Hammond M-3 that I'm cutting down. He intivted me to bring it to his shop and use his riveter to install the hardware.

He also said that he worked for some other cabinet company before starting up Emporer and that he will sometimes built custom roadcases on request.

Also, he plays and the guys in his band work there building cabs when they're not on the road.

the cabinets are amazing. awesome workmanship. if you are unhappy in anyway, dylan will take it back and rework it. they will fill any ridiculous request (6x12), colors, grill cloth, whatever.

focus on the 'heavy' sound, but if you know what you are looking for they can accommodate.

also builds amazing custom road cases for anything(guitar heads, combos, synths).

a con is they do not like to put casters on the cabinets which for super heavy cabinets is a negative but they sound amazing. also very road worthy and after scuffing the shit out of it, he will clean it up for you.
