Sabbath wrote much better songs than Zep. More concise, less from the brain, more immediate, better constructed. That's as far into 'tech' as I'm getting - put simply, Sabbath hit me harder than Zep ever will.

true and i agree with the sentiments. regarding "tech" issues... i see iommi as technically superior to page anyhow, but the zeppelin rhythm section was one helluva technical um, machine.
