Supposedly they're the industry standard, plus they have a 3 yr warranty. Hopefully these will hold up.

I also liked New Orleans alot, but I haven't been there since before Katrina hit.

Not looking for anything fancy, just something that will get the job done!

...brand of laundry detergent to get. Normally I just use whatever various roommates left here or people without a washing machine brought over. Yes I'm 32 years old and have no idea what laundry detergent to buy. I rarely wash clothes (wear them numerous times before washing) so if it's more money I don't care cause it'll last. If it matters, I wear the same two pairs of Dickies khaki cargo pants and mostly black band tshirts. Also got a couple blankets to wash that are rife with cat hair...

Not looking for anything fancy, just something that will get the job done!nah! those are ugly. I'm really pleased with my record storage. I picked up an ikea rationell variera pot-lid holder:$3it fits all of my 7" in a pleasing and easy to browse through manner:besides the artwork is the best thing about records. with this set up, I'm able to have a constantly changing view of the artwork. I've used it for 12", too, but those get heavy.regardless, make sure you screw the thing into a stud, or use mollys. even 7" are weighty.

Actually my record storage cost me about $15 all told, but i don't have an insane collection. that said, with some patience and thrift store scrounging, I came up with some really lovely solutions.the 10" rack is an Illinois Auto Electric Company letter holder:and the 12" magazine rack for the records I am currently playing:both were free/found.The rest of the 12" records go in this broyhill brasilia thing I got for $10:
