The tail that continues from the body into an inlay is a cool detail, although at a glance it looks less like a deviltail shooting fireballs and more like something else blasting something else. Which itself is fine, although it seems like a disconnect for the kind of player who otherwise wants to assert a love for women vis a vis the rest of the design.

Ahh OK, that makes sense.
I mean, Fender has that whole Parallel Universe line of "unholy marriage" instruments now. Maybe my threshold for "ugly" has been raised so high by all the airbrushed / relief-carved abortions from the old forum that this sort of thing no longer registers.

I'd play that bass. I bet the pickups sound like ducks coughing though.

I had one of those weird fender marriages called a jaguarillo- part jag, part strat. It was kind of a cool concept with the strat H/S/S config on a jag body and neck. I wound up selling it along with other things to upgrade to a couple of other things eventually, but I liked it.

Anyway, carve and paint that Jackson headstock and we’re really in business. I do bet those pickups sound BAAAD…..
