I don't even think there needs to be a hip band anymore, just a strategic Reverb video.tommy wrote: Wed Nov 03, 2021 2:16 pmThe price on these just shot up in the last 2 months. Was hovering around $80 for years. I think I've owned 2, though I never tried it on bass. I definitely liked it way better than the XT-2 that was released at the same time. The price on those increased a year or two ago but still roughly $100 less than where the PW-2 currently is.tallchris wrote: Wed Nov 03, 2021 1:08 pmFuckin' seriously! I've dug around a bit, but haven't found that some person in the cool new "hardcore band that now plays shoegaze" or "metal band that now plays indie rock" is using one of these, so I'm kind of at a loss!Garth wrote: Wed Nov 03, 2021 12:28 pm
Chris I know you and I talked about this privately but I was absolutely SHOCKED how the prices of these have gone through the roof - I'm super curious to know which famous person made these desirable all of a sudden. Mine was like $50 (if that) and most of the listings now are > $200 like it's going to be the next hyperfuzz or something.

I watched the prices go up almost in real time.
DIY and die anyway.
Re: Gear Demos That Aren't Terrible
13Andy from The Tone Report (formerly Pro Guitar Shop, now Reverb) is awesome. He demos very well, explains things clearly and concisely, and makes sure to hit all the details. I will always go find him if I want to check a pedal out. He can rip, and doesn't use a pick, which kind of amazes me.
